About me and my therapy practice

Black and white picture of Andreea Marcu, therapist

My name is Andreea, and I’m here to support those ready to take an active role in their own growth.

As a passionate and kind psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience, I offer a relational approach to therapy that centres on building trust and deep connection with each client.

My background in Integrative Psychotherapy enables me to work with a wide range of issues—including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and more—in a way that respects your unique journey and needs.

Recently, as I began exploring my own life through the lens of ADHD, much began to fall into place. Embracing a neurodivergent perspective has revealed a whole new depth of understanding, enriching my empathy for others who may be on similar journeys. This personal insight deeply informs my practice, helping me recognize how our minds function and the unique challenges that can arise along the way.

I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. By fostering a warm and safe environment, I work alongside my clients to create authentic sessions that align with their goals. Together, we can work through challenging experiences, guiding you back to your roots, and empowering you to uncover the strength and self-awareness that lie within.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here for those willing to engage fully. I recognize that the most transformative outcomes arise from commitment and openness. My role is to hold space, ask the right questions, and inspire change, supporting you to rediscover your worth and create lasting growth.

I am a very compassionate human being and a challenging psychotherapist. I will listen to you in a non-judgemental way and think if you are coming to the sessions you are ready to work. I feel that my approach supports the building of trust within the therapeutic relationship and this allows for further deeper and more challenging work to take place. The results of this way of working are to promote client growth, self-awareness and knowing your own self-worth. I am always looking to empower my clients as I truly believe that the answers are within.
